Fertilize frequently but with very dilute solution, 1/4 to 1/6 of the label's recommendation, 2 or 3 times per month. Water thoroughly in between feedings.

Some orchid genera (plural of genus) are rather widespread: Cypripedium, the North American Ladyslipper orchids, are also found in Europe and Asia; most Polystachyas are from Africa, but one species is in Florida and Southeast Asia as well.
